Job summary

Mane Energy is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer in Dublin to join the Central Engineering team. You will design and deliver structural solutions for large-scale projects across data centres, mission-critical facilities, and industrial sectors.

The role requires independent decision-making and travel within Ireland and internationally. Ideal candidates have 6–15 years of relevant experience, a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, and strong capabilities in steel and concrete design, with

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• 6–15 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong design experience across steel and concrete.
• Good understanding of load paths and building stability.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes and local regulations.
• Experience with AutoCAD and structural design software such as Tedds, Tekla Structural Designer or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design and assess structures in steel, reinforced concrete, in-situ and precast concrete.
• Prepare structural calculations using industry-standard software.
• Apply Eurocodes and relevant local regulations to projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and structural submissions.
• Support development of structural details and design standards.
• Raise RFIs and technical submittals during design development.
• Attend client and consultant meetings.
• Undertake site surveys, inspections and monitoring of structural works.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across projects.
• Manage workload across multiple projects and consultancies.
• Take technical responsibility for design deliverables.
