Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Centre Operations Integration Technician in Clondalkin to manage the handover between construction builds and the Site Operations team, ensuring the transfer is safe and compliant. You will build in-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, document operations, and interface with the CX team.

The role requires auditing subcontractor works, developing procedures for handover (EOPs/SOPs/MOPs/DRILLS), and coordinating shutdowns with Technical Supervisors.

Qualifications

• Fully verifiable trade qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience at Technician level in a critical environment (data centre preferred).
• Ability to manage escalations and resolve issues in dynamic conditions.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in data centres.
• Experience with PLCs, relays, and building management systems integration.
• Familiarity with medium voltage distribution and switch gear.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Operations Integration Team to handover new buildings to Site Operations.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of technical systems and documentation.
• Audit subcontractor works in the operational environment.
• Adhere to quality, health & safety, and environmental policies.
• Develop site procedures (EOPs, SOPs, MOPs, drills) for handover to operations.
• Coordinate shutdowns with Technical Supervisors and generate reports.
• Attend commissioning/start-up meetings and integration meetings.
• Manage risk assessments and control measures for operations.
