Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Centre Operations M&E Technician in Clondalkin to manage the handover of construction builds and enable operational integration with site operations. You will report to the Operational Integration supervisor and work to mitigate risk for the operations team.

You will develop expertise in electrical and mechanical systems of data centre environments, generate critical handover documentation, and participate in shutdowns and commissioning activities as required.

Qualifications

• A fully verifiable trade qualification in a relevant engineering discipline and verifiable additional training that is relevant to the proposed environment.
• Experience at Technician level in a critical environment (data centre, hospital, pharmaceutical production or power plant).
• Capability to manage escalations and emergency issues with ambiguity; resolve or elevate promptly.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Operations Integration Team to ensure successful integration of new buildings on Campus to Site Operations.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of technical systems.
• Generate operational documentation for safe and effective operation and maintenance.
• Interface with existing Operations and audit subcontractor works in the operational environment.
• Adhere to quality, health & safety, and environmental policies within the Data Centre domain.
