Job summary

H-Tech Supports in Ireland is seeking an experienced Data Centre Engineer (Level 2) to join our infrastructure team in Castlebar. You will design, manage, and maintain VMware vSphere and Windows virtualization environments, oversee backup and disaster recovery, and drive efficiency through automation.

You will implement high-availability configurations, automate routines with PowerShell and vSphere PowerCLI, contribute to CSI, and maintain up-to-date SOPs and documentation.

Qualifications

• Deep VMware vSphere, vCenter and ESXi expertise.
• - Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP and clustering proficiency.
• - SAN/NAS storage integration with virtualization.
• - Enterprise backup tools (Veeam, Veritas) proficiency.
• - Automation scripting with PowerShell and PowerCLI.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and migrate VMware vSphere environments.
• - Develop automation to streamline operations.
• - Manage backup and disaster recovery processes.
• - Maintain documentation and SOPs.
