Job summary

Ergo IT Recruitment Services is seeking an IT Field Engineer to support a major rollout across Dublin. The role requires 4+ years of hands-on field experience, with travel to client sites and a hybrid work model (1 day per week).

You will deploy, image, and configure PCs, support VMware desktops, manage Windows Server/Active Directory, and maintain Cisco/HP/Aruba hardware. The successful candidate will operate in a fast-paced, multi-site environment, have a full driving license, and hold

Qualifications

• 4+ years in IT Field Support.
• Strong virtualization (VMware) and networking skills.
• Full clean driving license and your own vehicle.
• IT qualification or relevant professional certifications.
• Ability to work in Central Dublin 1 Day per week (Essential)

Responsibilities

• Deploy, image, and configure PCs, laptops, and smart devices (iOS/Android).
• Support VMware virtual desktops and Windows Server/Active Directory environments.
• Maintain Cisco, HP, and Aruba networking hardware, plus network patching.
• Support specialised infrastructure, including CCTV, Control Room services, digital radios, and Avaya/Cisco telephony.
• Keep networked printers/scanners running smoothly and document technical processes.
