Job summary

Arup in Dublin is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for high‑profile projects. You will guide a team from concept through commissioning, delivering innovative, sustainable solutions aligned with net-zero principles.

Prospective candidates should have 12–15 years post‑qualification experience, with Data Centre design expertise and familiarity with the Irish (or UK) market.

Qualifications

Minimum 12-15 years of post-qualification design experience, most of which within a consultancy.
Demonstrated experience in the design of Data Centre Electrical Systems.
Experience in the Irish market (or in the UK).

Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for projects from concept through detailed design, installation and commissioning.
Develop innovative, sustainable electrical solutions incorporating net-zero carbon principles.
Collaborate with architects, clients and other specialists for seamless project integration.
Mentor and develop junior team members to foster learning and growth.
Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure successful delivery.
