Black & White Engineering is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale data centre developments. You will coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, guide projects from concept through construction, and ensure technical excellence across all stages.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in Design Management within the data centre, mission-critical, construction or building services sectors.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design coordination, including MEP and building systems.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships across clients, consultants, contractors and internal project teams.
• Excellent programme management, communication and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of data centre design standards, construction processes and project delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams from concept through construction.
• Guide projects from concept through construction, ensuring technical excellence at every stage.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants and delivery teams to balance performance, sustainability and commercial success.
