Job summary

Digital Realty in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Technician II to support Service Requests and remote hands activities, ensuring uninterrupted customer infrastructure operation and safe data centre environments during night shifts.

You will perform technical interventions, migrations, documentation, tests, and incident response under supervision, mentor Level I technicians, and contribute to compliance, administration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Experience in Telecommunications, IT or electrotechnical, network infrastructure environments.
Strong troubleshooting and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) capabilities.
Proactive, customer-focused mindset with good communication.
Ability to mentor junior technicians and work across teams.

Responsibilities

Provide technical customer service support and carry out operational interventions as requested by clients.
Handle Remote Hands requests per supervisor instructions, including migrations and documentation.
Perform equipment labeling, installations, testing and connectivity troubleshooting.
Draft and execute MOPs, CRs, and EOPs where applicable.
Ensure work progress is communicated to clients and internal teams.
Monitor and document services provided by external providers.
