Job summary

Salute in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Data Centre Shift Engineer with strong Electrical and Mechanical skills to maintain critical infrastructure and support 99.999% uptime.

You will lead planned maintenance, respond to alarms, and coordinate with vendors and Operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data center or critical environment experience.
• LV/HV authorization to switch certificate.
• Mechanical and/or Electrical training with focus on power.
• Safety for Operational Supervisors and OSHA 30 within start.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical, mechanical and fire/life-safety equipment to uptime targets.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance and respond to alarms.
• Coordinate with vendors and document all work in systems.
• Lead testing of mission-critical equipment on site.
• Communicate status and plans with Manager of Operations and customers.
