Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Clondalkin seeks a Data Centre Operations M&E Technician to ensure smooth handover from construction to site operations and to integrate new buildings into the campus team.

You will develop knowledge of electrical and mechanical data centre systems, produce operational documentation, and support audits, safety, and quality policies during commissioning and routine operation.

Qualifications

• Fully verifiable trade qualification in a relevant engineering discipline and verifiable additional training.
• Experience at technician level in a critical environment (data centre preferred).
• Ability to manage escalations and emergency issues with clarity and timeliness.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in a data centre environment.

Responsibilities

• Integrate new buildings with the Site Operations team during handover.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of technical systems.
• Generate operational documentation for safe operation and maintenance.
• Audit subcontractor works and ensure adherence to policies.
• Develop site procedures (EOPs, SOPs, MOPs, drills) for handover to operations.
