Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to implement Data 360 in enterprise customer environments. You will configure, build, test, and deploy Data 360 directly inside customer environments, focusing on ingestion, harmonization, identity, insights, and activation.

You will work with SQL, Apex, Flow, Python and MCP/agent protocols, ensuring secure, scalable deployments and a strong handoff to customer teams and partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or technical implementation.
• Hands‑on experience implementing Salesforce Data 360 or comparable enterprise data platform.
• Proficient in SQL and multi‑table queries; comfortable with Apex, Python, Java or JavaScript/TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Build in customer environments: sandbox and production using Data 360 configs, SQL, Apex, Flow, Python, REST APIs and deployment tooling.
• Engineer the data layer: ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution and optimized data views for specific workloads.
• Prove it works: create test data and validate outcomes across happy paths, edge cases, and data volumes.
• Ground the agents: design and maintain the AI data integration layer with RAG, vector databases, and knowledge bases.
