Job summary

Salesforce, Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer focused on Data 360 to help enterprises deploy real-time data solutions.

You will configure, build, test, and deploy Data 360 inside customer sandboxes and production environments, writing SQL, Apex, and Python, and integrating with Flow, REST APIs, and MCP/agent protocols. You will design ingestion, identity resolution, and data pipelines, ensuring secure, scalable implementations that meet acceptance criteria and operational readiness

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud) or similar platform.
Proficient in SQL with ability to build and optimize multi-table queries.
Experience with data pipelines, ingestion, and identity resolution.
Fluent in Apex, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript and able to learn others.

Responsibilities

Build in customer environments using Data 360 configuration, SQL, Apex, Python, Flow, and APIs.
Engineer the data layer with ingestion, harmonization, and identity resolution.
Validate outcomes across edge cases, security constraints, and data volumes.
Ground AI data integration with RAG, vector databases, and knowledge bases.
Design protocols for agent-to-agent communication and secure data access.
