Job summary

Salesforce is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer focused on Data 360 to implement real-time data pipelines inside customer environments. You will configure, test, and deploy Data 360 components—ingestion, harmonization, identity, and insights—ensuring security and scalable architectures.

The role requires hands-on engineering experience with SQL, Apex, Python, and integration patterns, and collaboration with customer teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software or data engineering experience with a production data solution.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Data 360 or comparable enterprise data platform.
• Experience building data pipelines and integrations.
• Proficient in SQL with multi-table queries and data validation.
• Fluent in Apex, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Configure and develop directly in customer sandboxes and production environments using Data 360 configuration and APIs.
• Engineer data layer across ingestion, harmonization, identity, and insights.
• Create representative test data and validate outcomes across paths and boundaries.
• Ground the AI data integration layer (RAG, vector databases, knowledge bases).
• Implement MCP and agent-to-agent communication protocols.
• Connect Agentforce to enterprise applications and ensure secure data integration.
