Working Monday to Friday, 14:00-22:30, you'll oversee evening customs operations, ensuring customs declarations, compliance activities, and export documentation are completed accurately and on time. Leading a team of five Customs Clerks/Administrators, you'll play a key role in supporting customers, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving process consistency across the customs function.
You will be responsible for:
You'll have at least two years' experience in a customs supervisory role, with strong knowledge of customs compliance procedures and regulatory requirements. Experience managing Catch Certificates, TRACES documentation, RoRo movements, and deep-sea freight operations is essential.
Strong IT skills are required, including confidence using Microsoft Excel and Word, alongside customs and logistics systems. You'll be commercially aware, highly organised, and capable of balancing customer requirements with compliance obligations.
You'll thrive in this role if you're a confident people leader who enjoys developing and supporting others. Experience managing or mentoring a small team would be highly beneficial.
