Job summary

DFDS is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join our team in Ireland. You will work as a commercial partner with local and Group teams across commercial, operational, Finance and IT, driving performance through trend analyses and actionable commentary during monthly reporting.

You will create and manage financial models for business cases to optimise EBIT and ROIC and support strategic decisions to maximise growth, with strong written and oral communication to engage stakeholders at all levels.

• Commercial finance experience with the ability to act as a commercial partner.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities to support monthly reviews.
• Ability to influence decision making with clear commentary and insights.

Responsibilities

• Working Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00, you will be responsible for:
• Act as a commercial partner, working collaboratively with local and Group-level commercial, operational, Finance, and Group IT teams.
• Drive performance by preparing and reviewing trend analysis, providing actionable insights and commentary during the monthly reporting process.
• Create and manage financial models for business cases and proposals to drive EBIT and ROIC improvements.
• Support strategic decision-making to maximise business performance and deliver sustainable growth.
• Use your exceptional communication skills—both written and oral—to engage stakeholders effectively at all levels.

About you

• We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable individual with the ability to prioritise fast paced and evolving workloads, coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ideally, candidates will have commercial finance experience and hold CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualifications, though part-qualified professionals or those qualified by experience will also be considered.
