Have you ever wanted to be the person who makes a much-loved brand the go-to name on shelves across the Irish market? This is your chance.
We're delighted to be retained by Twinings to hire a Customer Business Manager for Ireland. Twinings is now a leading name in hot and cold wellbeing drinks, helping millions of people get the most out of life. Over the past four years it has repositioned itself as a leader in wellbeing. That came through bold innovation, a move into cold sparkling tea and a big step up in marketing, backed by serious media investment. It's paid off with standout growth, and Twinings is now the number one tea brand among under-35s in London.
This is the whole market in your hands. You'd own the P&L across every format, North and South and decide how Twinings wins in two markets that work very differently. Some of the growth comes from sitting across the table from the big grocers. The rest comes from getting distributors fired up and pulling in the same direction. You'll need to be good at both, and you'll see the results quickly. You'd also have the backing of a global brand with real momentum heading into its next phase of growth.
You're a trader at heart. You love ownership, you're comfortable with ambiguity, and you make things happen without waiting to be asked. You're highly numerate, revenue management comes naturally, and you can turn data into a business case people back.
You stay resilient and decisive when it counts, both in the negotiation and in the recovery.
You know grocery across the island of Ireland well and have managed major accounts such as Dunnes Stores, Tesco, SuperValu, Lidl or Aldi, with the JBP and negotiation track record to show for it.
Ideally, you've also worked with distributors and know how to get the best from a partner who carries more than just your brand.
Twinings believes diversity drives innovation, and welcomes people of every background, identity and experience. Reasonable adjustments to the process are no problem — just let us know what you need. And if you don't feel you meet every line above, come to us anyway.
You'll hear back within 2 working days. Always.
