Hilltop Community Resources in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents at The Commons. This full-time role emphasizes safety, sanitation, and teamwork, with a schedule Friday-Monday 6 am–2:30 pm.

You will follow state health regulations, prep from scratch, assist with catering, and maintain temperature logs. A high school diploma or GED and a Food Handler's Card are required, along with 3–6 months kitchen experience.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Food Handler's Card required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic meal specials, daily prep cooking duties, soups, sauces, and desserts from scratch per Food Service Manager's specifications.
• Prepare and plate meal orders with proper food handling and presentation.
• Follow health regulations and log temperatures; sanitize equipment.
• Assist with catering duties as needed and help with cleaning and dishwashing.
• Inspect and maintain proper cleaning chemicals for the dishwasher.
