Job summary

Capital Credit Union in South Dublin is seeking an experienced Credit Control Manager to lead arrears management and credit risk within a community-based credit union. Reporting to the CEO, you will manage the credit control team, oversee MARP processes, and drive improvements in policy adherence and reporting to the Board.

The role focuses on risk mitigation, lending discipline, and providing expert guidance to lending functions while coordinating with the CFO on provisioning review and board

Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in credit control, arrears management or debt recovery in a credit union or similar financial institution
• Strong leadership and people management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Leads the credit control function, ensuring excellent service to members in line with board policies.
• Attends Board meetings and presents to the Credit Control Committee as required.
• Manage arrears from early intervention through to resolution, including MARP process oversight.
• Oversee outsourced providers in credit control.
• Develop and monitor KPIs and report performance and risk to senior management.
