Job summary

Manpower seeks a Credit & Underwriting Manager to lead a busy credit and underwriting function in South Kerry. The role requires senior management experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on governance, risk, and regulatory compliance.

You will manage, develop and motivate a high-performing team, ensuring service levels, productivity and quality targets are achieved while aligning with company policies and controls.

Qualifications

• Leadership of credit & underwriting teams in a regulated environment.
• Strong governance, compliance and regulatory knowledge.
• Experience with credit risk and underwriting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team within the credit and underwriting function.
• Drive performance and ensure service levels and targets are met.
• Coach and mentor team members for performance and development.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor workflow, productivity and quality across the team.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on governance, reporting and risk management.
