Job summary

Primtac Personnel LTD is partnering with a long-established client to recruit a Trade Counter Sales Advisor for their busy Wexford branch. The role suits someone with experience in builders'/plumbers' wholesalers who enjoys customer service and sales.

You'll serve trade and retail customers, provide expert advice on building materials, process sales and quotations, and contribute to a hands-on team environment at the branch.

Qualifications

• Experience in builders'/plumbers' wholesalers is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing materials.
• Trade counter or internal sales experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve trade and retail customers, providing expert advice on building materials.
• Process sales, quotations, and customer orders.
• Identify upselling opportunities and make inside sales calls.
• Keep up to date with stock levels, products, and branch requirements.
• Assist with general branch duties, including working in the builders' yard when required.
• Work as part of a team to ensure the branch runs smoothly.
