Job summary

Avoca Village in Avoca, Co. Wicklow, Ireland is recruiting experienced Counter Assistants for a temporary part-time role with an immediate start. The position is on site and requires flexibility to cover peak periods.

Duties include delivering high standard customer service, barista tasks, till operation, replenishing stock and keeping the store clean and aligned with Avoca brand standards. Benefits include pension, development opportunities, health programmes and more.

We are recruiting for experienced Counter Assistants to work on a temporary part-time basis in our location at Avoca Village. This position is for an immediate start and the candidate must be flexible.

Duties include:

• Customer Service – A high standard of customer service is required for the role, including assisting customers in person and via phone
• Barista – making coffees, serving fresh food to customers.
• Till use – scanning items and taking payments, managing queues in a timely manner.
• Running tables/table service
• Replenishing stock, ensuring the department is always in line with Avoca brand standards.
• Opening and closing duties as outlined by your line manager
• Ensuring the store is clean, tidy and in keeping with Avoca brand standard
• Assisting with tours
• Ad-hoc duties outlined by your manager

Ideal Candidate:
