Job summary

Avoca Rathcoole in Co. Dublin is seeking enthusiastic Baristas to join our team on a part-time basis, with an immediate start. You will prepare a range of hot and cold beverages to our company standards, delivering friendly service in a fast-paced retail café environment.

Avoca operates in 13 Store locations, Central Bakery & Kitchen, Central Stores and Weaving Production Mill across Ireland. After all this time, the ethos of Avoca remains the same. We have a host of award-winning cafes and restaurants, Food Markets crammed with artisanal ingredients from near and far, as well as a best-selling range of Avoca cookbooks. There are also gardens to explore at many of our stores, as well as florists and garden centres. The list goes on. And all of this from a modest handweaving mill, established in a rural Irish village in 1723.

We are looking for enthusiastic Baristas to join our gorgeous Avoca Rathcoole location. This is a part time position for an immediate start.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Barista, in hospitality, retail, or a customer service environment.
• Ability to prepare a range of hot and cold beverages to company standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong cash handling and till operation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP requirements.
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays where required.
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support colleagues.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads effectively.
• Professional, friendly, and positive attitude.
