Apleona Ireland is seeking a part-time Chef/Cook to join a residential care home in Newbridge, Co Kildare. The role offers an average of 16-20 hours per week with shifts 9:30-19:00 on 3 out of 7 days. This temporary contract runs 3 months to one year.

You will plan balanced menus, accommodate dietary requirements, uphold HACCP and health and safety standards, and participate in mandatory training. Garda vetting is required.

Competenze

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar food service environment.
• Good level of English.
• Reliable and friendly with a can-do attitude.
• Garda vetting required.

• Ensure that all daily menus are balanced and meet our customer requirements of producing high-quality food.


• To ensure all client requirements are met, including any dietary requirements.


• To ensure the highest standards of Health and Safety and HACCP are maintained in the catering facility.


• To attend any mandatory training


• To follow any procedures and policies in the workplace


• To report all complaints to the manager

Requirements

• At least 2 years of previous experience in a similar food service environment


• Good level of English


• Passion and hunger for food and ingredients


• Reliable and friendly


• A can-do attitude


• Garda vetting required
