Job summary

Apleona is seeking a Chef/cook to join our team at a residential care home in Newbridge, Co Kildare. This is a part-time role averaging 16-20 hours per week, with shifts from 9:30 to 19:00.

Flexible scheduling requires 3 out of 7 days. The position is a temporary contract of 3 months to one year, focusing on balanced menus, dietary requirements, HACCP, and working under the supervision of the manager.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in a similar food service environment.
Good level of English.
Passion and hunger for food and ingredients.
Reliable and friendly.

Responsibilities

Ensure that all daily menus are balanced and meet our customer requirements of producing high-quality food.
To ensure all client requirements are met, including any dietary requirements.
To ensure the highest standards of Health and Safety and HACCP are maintained in the catering facility.
To attend any mandatory training.
To follow any procedures and policies in the workplace.
To report all complaints to the manager.
