Job summary

CONTRACTS MANAGER

Location: Midlands, Ireland | Sector: Building / Construction

€110,000–€140,000 + Package

INFORM3 Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Contracts Manager on behalf of a leading Tier 2 main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects across Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor overseeing a portfolio of projects throughout the Midlands, with responsibility for multiple sites across both the commercial and large-scale residential sectors.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project delivery, driving performance across site teams and ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme and within budget.

The Role

• Oversee the successful delivery of multiple construction projects across the Midlands.

• Manage Site Managers, Project Managers and wider site teams across a varied project portfolio.

• Take overall responsibility for project performance, ensuring delivery within agreed budgets, programmes and quality standards.

• Monitor project costs, commercial performance, procurement and contractual obligations.

• Drive programme management, resource allocation and operational efficiency across all sites.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants and design teams.

• Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, building regulations and company procedures.

• Identify and manage project risks, variations, contractual issues and potential delays.

• Report regularly to senior management on project progress, financial performance and operational matters.

• Maintain the company's reputation for delivering quality projects and developing long-term client relationships.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in a Contracts Manager or senior construction management position.

• Proven track record overseeing multiple construction projects simultaneously.

• Strong background in either commercial construction, large-scale residential or ideally both.

• Experience working with a main contractor.

• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project financials, contracts and procurement.

• Excellent leadership and people management skills.

• Ability to manage and develop strong site management teams.

• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving abilities.

• Relevant third-level qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
