Job summary

Conack is seeking a Quality Engineer to manage the delivery of a construction project across the western region. You will help ensure projects meet the highest quality standards and work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

You will promote a Right First Time culture, manage NCs with root-cause analysis, and oversee QC documentation and compliance across all phases of construction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Quality, QA/QC, Site Engineering, or similar role within construction.
• Strong understanding of quality systems, inspections, and compliance.
• Experience with Procore or similar systems (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Promote a “Right First Time” quality culture across the project.
• Manage non-conformances (NCs) including root cause analysis and close-out.
• Inspect and sign off on reworks and corrective actions.
• Ensure works are completed in line with mock-ups and first-of-kind standards.
• Develop and maintain Quality Management Plans and ITPs.
• Carry out daily inspections and reporting using Procore.
• Monitor compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Manage and administer BCAR processes and documentation.
• Coordinate handover documentation including O&M manuals and certifications.
• Support BREEAM certification and sustainability tracking.
• Attend site, client, and design meetings, providing quality updates.
