Job summary

Conack is one of Ireland’s fastest-growing construction firms delivering award-winning projects across multiple sectors. We are seeking a Quality Engineer to drive a Right First Time culture and manage NCs, inspections and documentation on western-region projects.

You will develop quality plans, use Procore for daily reporting, and coordinate handover docs including O&M manuals and certifications. Exposure to BCAR and sustainability tracking is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC or site engineering in construction.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, inspections and compliance.
• Familiarity with BCAR processes (highly desirable).
• Experience with Procore or similar construction software.

Responsibilities

Join Conack, one of Ireland’s fastest-growing construction companies, delivering award-winning projects across multiple sectors. We are looking for a Quality Engineer to manage the delivery of a construction projecst based across the western region.

What You'll Do

• Promote a “Right First Time” quality culture across the project
• Manage non-conformances (NCs) including root cause analysis and close-out
• Inspect and sign off on reworks and corrective actions
• Ensure works are completed in line with mock-ups and first-of-kind standards
• Develop and maintain Quality Management Plans and ITPs
• Carry out daily inspections and reporting using Procore
• Monitor compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications
• Manage and administer BCAR processes and documentation
• Coordinate handover documentation including O&M manuals and certifications
• Support BREEAM certification and sustainability tracking
• Attend site, client, and design meetings, providing quality updates

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a Quality, QA/QC, Site Engineering, or similar role within construction
• Strong understanding of quality systems, inspections, and compliance
• Knowledge of BCAR processes(highly desirable)
• Experience with Procore or similar systems (advantageous)
• Strong attention to detail and documentation
• Good communication and coordination skills
