Job summary

Conack Construction seeks a Quality Engineer to lead quality assurance on western region projects. You will drive Right First Time culture, manage NCs, inspections, and sign-offs, and align works with mock-ups and first-of-kind standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Quality/QA/QC role in construction.
• Strong understanding of quality systems, inspections, and compliance.
• Knowledge of BCAR processes (desirable).
• Experience with Procore or similar systems (advantageous).
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote a “Right First Time” quality culture across the project.
• Manage non-conformances including root cause analysis and close-out.
• Inspect and sign off on reworks and corrective actions.
• Ensure works are completed in line with mock-ups and first-of-kind standards.
• Develop and maintain Quality Management Plans and ITPs.
• Carry out daily inspections and reporting using Procore.
• Monitor compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Manage and administer BCAR processes and documentation.
• Coordinate handover documentation including O&M manuals and certifications.
• Support BREEAM certification and sustainability tracking.
• Attend site, client, and design meetings, providing quality updates.

This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in ensuring projects are delivered to the highest quality standards, working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders across all phases of construction.
