Job summary

Global Professional Consultants seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead an 80-unit residential development in Ballina, Co. Mayo. You will plan, coordinate and direct activities to ensure successful project delivery in line with programme, cost and quality targets.

Role requires leadership, IT/reporting skills and a proven track record in residential construction. Excellence in health & safety, Irish contract knowledge, and driving licence are essential for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a PM role in construction.
• Strong financial, commercial and business development acumen.
• Must have experience Project Managing the construction of Residential developments.
• Excellent understanding of Health & Safety requirements within Irish construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct activities to ensure successful delivery of the project.
• Regular programme evaluation, manage client and design team expectations.
• Management of resources, subcontractors, equipment and materials.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and technical assessors to ensure project is completed on time per programme/contracts.
• Co-ordinate activities with Quality System, Procedures and Engineering Specifications.
• Meet objectives in timely delivery, cost, quality and client satisfaction.
• Maintain highest level of Health & Safety and Quality.
• Maintain good relationships with clients, design and office team.

Project Manager required to join a leading Main Contractor. This Project Manager will start on an 80-unit residential project in Ballina, Co.Mayo.

You will be part of a growing company that is leading the way in modern construction methods using new technologies, sustainable materials and innovative building methods.

Role:

• Plan, organize, and direct activities to ensure successful delivery of the project.
• Regular programme evaluation, ability to manage client and design teams expectations.
• Management of resources, workforce, subcontractors, equipment and materials.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and technical assessors to ensure project is completed in accordance with programme/contracts.
• Comply with and co-ordinate project activities in accordance with company Quality System, Quality Procedures, and Engineering Specifications.
• Meet agreed objectives in the areas of timely delivery, cost, quality and client satisfaction.
• Ensure highest level of Health & Safety, and Quality is upheld at all times.
• Maintain good working relationships with clients, design and office team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in a PM role in construction.
• 3rd Level qualification in construction management/Civil Engineering.
• Strong financial, commercial and business development acumen.
• Ideally experienced in Public Contract construction.
• Must have experience Project Managing the construction of Residential developments.
• Good knowledge of quality and safety management systems.
• Good IT skills with ability to generate detailed site reports.
• Ability to drive projects and work within strict deadlines.
• Excellent understanding of Health & Safety requirements within Irish construction sites.
• Full Irish driving licence.
• Salary €85k - €95k neg DOE
