Job summary
John Sisk & Son Ltd in Limerick seeks a Planner to support current and upcoming projects. You will develop, manage and monitor programmes from design through handover, ensuring safety, efficiency and alignment with contracts.
You will collaborate with project teams to produce reporting, identify risks and drive improvements. The role requires strong planning software experience (Asta Powerproject, Synchro) and a solid understanding of construction sequencing, with opportunities for
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Certification or advanced training in planning software (Asta/Elecosoft Powerproject).
- Experience with BIM/CDE platforms and 4D planning tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop baseline and target programmes with clear critical path and logic links.
- Create 4D/2D phasing plans to illustrate build sequences and logistics.
- Provide programme reporting and risk/opportunity identification to drive delivery.
- Lead peer reviews and ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy across projects.
- Mentor junior planners and coordinate planning activities in pre-construction and on-site phases.
