Job summary

Sisk is seeking a Planner to support projects in the Limerick area. You will develop, manage and monitor project programmes from design through handover, ensuring delivery aligns with contractual and commercial requirements.

You will work closely with project teams to produce accurate reporting, identify risks, and support successful delivery through effective planning and analysis. Asta/Elecosoft Powerproject and 4D planning experience are key assets.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Certification or advanced training in planning software (Asta/Elecosoft Powerproject).
• Strong planning and sequencing understanding for large projects.
• Experience with NEC/JCT contract structures is beneficial.
• Clear ability to interpret complex project data and risks.
• Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior planners is a plus.
• Experience with CDEs and 2D/4D modelling workflows is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of baseline contract programmes with full logic and critical path.
• Prepare target programmes to identify efficiency opportunities.
• Develop tender event programmes for subcontractors and procurement.
• Maintain programme documents within a Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Create 4D models or 2D phasing plans to show build sequences and logistics.
• Collaborate on construction methodologies, sequencing and safe delivery.
• Support staff resource planning, logistics and temporary works during projects.
• Engage supply chain to incorporate design deliverables and durations.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and mitigation strategies for programmes.
• Produce tracking schedules and validated outputs for progress reviews.
• Perform peer reviews to ensure quality and consistency of programmes.
• Lead reporting to project leadership on programme status and progress.
