Job summary

BAM UK & Ireland is seeking a Planning professional for our East Meath project to drive project schedules, monitor progress, and coordinate with site teams. The role requires a degree in Engineering and at least two years of planning experience in building construction, with main contractor exposure preferred.

You will work on Primavera P6, MS Project or Asta, report progress, and contribute to KPI development while collaborating across design teams, contractors, and site management to ensure

Qualifications

• Relevant Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years planning experience in building construction.
• Main contractor experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and lead times.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Multi-disciplinary project approach and teamwork.
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Full driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Project planning using Primavera P6, MS Project or Asta.
• Project progress measuring and monitoring.
• Project progress reporting.
• Coordinate schedules with site management, design teams and contractors.
• Understand and maintain the contract programme.
• Subcontractor progress monitoring.
• Develop and monitor KPIs.
• Measure quantities from drawings to generate progress reports.
• Assist with BIM integration (4D planning).
• Provide strategic advice for safeguarding, growth and development.
• Collaborate within a team with flexible task allocation.
