Job summary

Sisk is seeking a Senior Planner for the Limerick area to lead scheduling, 4D modelling and progress reporting across pre-construction and construction phases. You will coordinate design, procurement and construction activities, develop and maintain the baseline programme, and manage the tender event timetable.

You will drive planning excellence, produce weekly and monthly reports, engage with supply chain partners, and mentor junior planners to ensure consistent delivery on live projects in

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional body membership where applicable.
• Advanced Asta Powerproject training for progress analysis and reporting.
• Advanced Primavera P6 training for cost and resources management.
• Managing People Training and leadership development.
• Understanding JCT and NEC forms of contract.
• Basic BIM training and use of common data environment (CDE).
• Synchro Training for 4D modelling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of the baseline programme covering design, procurement and construction with a fully linked critical path.
• Prepare construction (target) programme highlighting improvements against baseline.
• Create tender event programme for subcontractor procurement.
• Maintain electronic planning files in the common data environment (CDE).
• Provide programme information to support management decisions.
• Develop 4D or 2D phasing visuals to show build sequence and logistics.
• Contribute to project prelim books with staffing, logistics and temporary works requirements.
• Engage supply chain to align design, lead-ins, construction periods and resources.
• Review risks and opportunities with mitigation actions in the programme.
• Report weekly/monthly on programme status and update management.
