Job summary

SEED Environmental, part of the Celnor Group, is seeking motivated Construction Labourers to join our expanding team in County Roscommon, Republic of Ireland. You will work with a Team Leader at homeowners’ properties across the ROI, carrying out site works, remediation, reinstatement and OFTEC tasks, with on-the-job training and opportunities to upskill.

The role is permanent and full-time (8am–4pm, Mon–Fri on site) with overtime, pension, life insurance, sick pay after probation, and other

Qualifications

• Experience on construction sites with safety awareness.
• Full EU driving licence.
• Physically capable of demanding tasks outdoors in all weather.
• Right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
• Willingness to travel/work away from home when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site works under Team Leader and Contracts Manager.
• Assist with spill response and excavation works.
• Operate machinery and power tools for intrusive works.
• Keep sites safe, tidy and compliant with health and safety rules.
• Support equipment maintenance and report faults.
• Photograph completed works for documentation.

About the Role

We are seeking motivated Construction Labourers to join our expanding operations team in County Roscommon during an exciting time of rapid growth. As a Construction Labourer, you and a Team Leader will work as a team of two primarily at homeowner's properties around the Republic of Ireland. You'll undertake site works, as well as building, remediation, reinstatement and OFTEC works under the direction of the Team Leader, receiving training on the job and opportunities to expand your skill set where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out site works under the direction of the Team Leader and Contracts Manager
• Assist with spill response operations and hand-digging excavation works to facilitate contamination removal
• Drive machinery and use power tools to carry out intrusive construction works
• Keep sites tidy, clean and safe, identifying potential hazards and working in a controlled manner
• Support the maintenance and servicing of equipment, reporting faults when identified
• Assist with collecting photographs of completed works for documentation purposes
• Carry out works in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Utilise your own initiative, skills and knowledge where appropriate

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Essential Requirements:

• Experience gained in a construction site environment with appreciation for health and safety
• Full EU driving licence
• Ability to undertake a variety of physically demanding tasks
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Can-do attitude with an adaptable approach to work in a varied and sometimes challenging environment
• Positive attitude with a motivated approach and able to use own initiative
• Basic Irish Garda Clearance check
• Right to work in the Republic of Ireland
• Willingness to work away from home when necessary

Desirable:

• Ability to operate plant and machinery
• Experience with remediation works
• CSR/CSCS Card
• Background in demolition, construction, or landscaping

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of €27,000 - €32,000 per annum (dependent on experience) and provide a comprehensive range of benefits including:
