The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of high-value, mission-critical projects across the data centre, power generation and aviation sectors.

This senior leadership position will involve overseeing multiple projects from design and pre-construction through to commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery in line with programme, budget, quality and safety objectives.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams, while contributing to the wider strategic direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of mission-critical projects, including hyperscale data centres, retrofit works, power generation infrastructure and aviation developments.
• Manage project teams, site management personnel and specialist subcontractors.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the senior point of contact throughout project delivery.
• Drive performance across health and safety, quality, programme, commercial and operational objectives.
• Oversee project planning, procurement, risk management and contract administration.
• Monitor project budgets, forecasts, change management and overall financial performance.
• Lead regular project reviews and provide accurate reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Oversee commissioning, testing and handover activities to ensure successful project completion.
• Mentor and develop project teams, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects within data centres, power generation, aviation or other critical infrastructure sectors.
• Strong leadership, commercial, contractual and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and multidisciplinary teams.
• A demonstrable track record of delivering projects safely, on schedule and within budget.
• A degree in Construction, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline is preferred.
