Job summary

AGS Recruitment is seeking compassionate Support Workers for immediate full-time and part-time agency shifts in Roscommon and nearby areas. You will provide high-quality care, promote independence, and work within HIQA-aligned, person-centred care plans as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification, 1 year’s care experience, CPR/Moving & Handling certificates (preferred), full driving licence and right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship).

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar care environment
• CPR and Moving & Handling certificates (preferred)
• Full driving licence (required)
• Right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship available)
• Garda vetting will be conducted on application

• Provide high-quality support and care to individuals with diverse needs
• Promote independence, dignity and inclusion in daily life
• Implement person-centred care plans in line with HIQA standards
• Manage challenging behaviour with empathy and professionalism
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to team communication
