Job summary

AGS Recruitment is seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers for immediate full-time and part-time agency shifts in Tipperary and nearby areas. Responsibilities include providing high-quality care, promoting independence, and implementing person-centred plans in line with HIQA standards.

Requirements include QQI Level 5 Healthcare, at least 1 year in a similar environment, CPR and Moving & Handling certificates (preferred), a full driving licence, and right to work in Ireland.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a similar care environment
• Valid CPR and Patient Moving & Handling certificates (preferred)
• Full clean driving licence (required)
• Full right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship available)
• Garda vetting will be conducted upon application

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support and care to individuals with diverse needs
• Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion in all aspects of daily life
• Implement person-centred care plans in line with HIQA standards and organisational policies
