Job summary

Nua Healthcare Services in Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland, is seeking compassionate Social Care Workers to deliver person-centred support across residential, day services, and community outreach settings.

You will contribute to empowering individuals to reach their full potential, while benefitting from ongoing training, professional development, and a structured induction process. The role requires flexibility to work a 24/7 roster and a commitment to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Level 7/8 qualification in Social Care, Social Studies, or related discipline.
• CORU registration is required where applicable.
• Full driving licence or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to plan, organise, and manage their daily activities and routines.
• Assist individuals to access and participate in local communities to promote inclusion and independence.
• Support education, training, skills development, and personal goals.
• Develop and maintain independent living skills such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, appointments, and social relationships.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practice.
• Work across a 24/7 roster to meet needs and ensure continuity of care.
