Nua Healthcare Services is a leading care provider in Ireland offering Residential, Supported Living, Day Services and Community Outreach to both Children and Adults with complex supports. Located in Dunlavin, County Wicklow, the role is within a 24/7 service with comprehensive induction and development opportunities.

We seek compassionate, motivated Assistant Support Workers to empower individuals to achieve independence and lead meaningful lives within their communities.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required; comprehensive training provided.
• Experience in a support role desirable but not essential.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn to support independence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full driving licence required or actively working towards one.
• Flexibility to work across a range of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with planning and managing daily activities and routines.
• Provide support to individuals while accessing and participating in their local community.
• Assist individuals with education, skills development, and achieving personal goals.
• Support development of independent living skills (cooking, cleaning, laundry, appointments, social connections).
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, standards and codes of practice.
• Work flexible shift patterns across a 24-hour, 7-day service.
