Job summary

Nua Healthcare Services is seeking compassionate Social Care Workers to provide person-centred support to individuals using our residential and community-based services. You will help empower independence, plan daily activities, and promote inclusion across local communities.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 7/8 qualification in Social Care or related field.
• Registration with CORU where applicable is required.
• Experience in social care is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals to plan, organise, and manage their daily activities and routines.
• Assisting individuals to access and actively participate in their local communities, promoting inclusion, independence, and social engagement.
• Supporting individuals in education, training, skills development, and the achievement of their personal goals and aspirations.
• Assisting individuals to develop and maintain independent living skills, including cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, and maintaining family and social relationships.
• Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of, and adhering to, all Company policies, procedures, standards, regulations, and codes of practice in line with organisational and legislative requirements.
• Working flexibly across a 24-hour, 7-day service to meet the needs of the individuals supported and ensure continuity of care and support.
