Job summary

Nua Healthcare Limited is seeking compassionate Social Care Workers to join our team in Drogheda. You will provide person-centred support, empower individuals to reach their goals, and contribute to high-quality care within our residential and community services.

We offer ongoing training, development opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package. This role requires flexibility over a 7-day roster and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• A Level 7/8 qualification in Social Care, Social Studies or related discipline (essential).
• Registration with CORU is required where applicable.
• Previous social care experience is desirable but not essential.
• Positive attitude and genuine passion for supporting individuals to live fulfilling lives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with professionals, families and colleagues.
• Full driving licence or working towards one.
• Flexibility to work across shifts in a 7-day roster.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and manage daily activities for individuals.
• Help individuals access and participate in local communities.
• Support in education, training and skills development.
• Assist with independent living skills (cooking, cleaning, laundry, appointments).
• Follow Company policies, procedures and codes of practice.
• Work across a 24/7 service to ensure continuity of care and support.
