The role emphasizes high-quality care, ongoing training, and career progression opportunities within a 24/7 rostered service.

Qualifikationen

• A Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care, Social Studies, or a related discipline is essential.
• Registration with the relevant professional body, including CORU registration where applicable, is required.
• Previous experience in a social care or support setting is desirable, but not essential.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals to live fulfilling, meaningful lives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with individuals, families, colleagues, and external professionals.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• A full driving licence is required, or candidates must be actively working towards obtaining one.
• Flexibility and reliability to work across a range of shifts in line with service requirements.

Aufgaben

• Supporting individuals to plan, organise, and manage their daily activities and routines.
• Assisting individuals to access and participate in their local communities, promoting inclusion, independence, and social engagement.
• Supporting individuals in education, training, skills development, and achieving personal goals.
• Assisting individuals to develop and maintain independent living skills (cooking, cleaning, laundry, appointments).
• Developing and maintaining understanding of company policies, procedures, standards, regulations and codes of practice.
• Working flexibly across a 24/7 service to meet the needs of the individuals supported and ensure continuity of care.
