Job summary

Brindley Healthcare Services Limited is seeking a compassionate care support worker to join our Leixlip Oaks and Maynooth Oaks residential settings in Leixlip. The role focuses on enhancing quality of life for elderly and disabled clients through person-centred care, daily living activities, and community engagement.

You will support autonomy, dignity, and safety, assist with personal care, and help individuals maintain independence in line with their support plans.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support (or relevant modules) preferred.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or home care setting.
• Compassionate, flexible, and committed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as eating, dressing, hygiene, mobility.
• Help plan, organise, and participate in activities aligned to the individual's plan and preferences.
• Promote autonomy, dignity, privacy, inclusion and decision-making, supporting personal goals.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report changes to the supervisor.
• Support access to education, training, appointments, and community activities.
• Provide companionship and emotional support while maintaining professional boundaries.
