Job summary

Caremark Meath and Louth is seeking compassionate Care & Support Workers to join our dedicated team, delivering person-centred care in clients’ homes across Meath and Louth.

You will provide essential personal care, mobility and daily living support, promote independence and dignity, and work with Field Care Supervisors.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide essential personal care and support to service users

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support with personal care, mobility and daily living activities.
• Assist service users with physical disabilities, incontinence and personal care equipment.
• Support individuals who are unwell or receiving end-of-life care.
• Promote physical, mental and social wellbeing through activities, conversation and companionship.
• Assist with meal preparation, bed-making, light cleaning.
• Maintain accurate care records and reports, and participate in reviews and training.
• Follow Caremark policies and procedures and promptly report changes in service users’ health or circumstances.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing at all times.
