Job summary

Irish Wheelchair Association is recruiting Healthcare Assistants (Personal Assistants) to support members in Co. Donegal. Roles cover personal care, domestic help, social involvement, and travel companionship within members' homes and communities.

Flexibility for weekdays and every second weekend is expected. Candidates should hold QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support, have a full clean driver's licence, and own a smartphone to check in and out of visits.

Qualifications

• Full clean drivers' licence is essential.
• Kind and caring attitude required.
• Use of own smartphone to check in and out of visits is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in personal care, domestic assistance, and social support for members.
• Provide travel and companionship to enable independence.
• Support members in daily living activities in homes and communities.
• Coordinate with home support staff and scheduling teams as needed.
