Job summary

Comfort Keepers is hiring care workers in Ireland to provide compassionate in-home support. You will assist with daily living activities, meal prep, light housekeeping and medication reminders within your local area, while building trusted relationships with clients and families.

Role offers full-time or part-time positions, with training, uniform, Garda vetting, and 24/7 support from local management. Applicants must have right to work in Ireland and EU/EEA eligibility.

Qualifications

• EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Ireland is required.
• A driving licence is not required but beneficial.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support desirable; the company will support you to complete it.
• Motivation to support people in the community to live with independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Delivering personal care including support with mobility, dressing, and continence care with dignity and respect at all times.
• Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Providing medication prompts and maintaining accurate, timely records.
• Travel between client visits within your local area.
• Observing client wellbeing and escalating any concerns promptly to the local office management.
• Building a professional, trusted relationship with your client and their family.
• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and privacy at all times.
