Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Ireland is hiring care workers to deliver personal care, meal support and companionship in clients' homes across local areas. You will assist with mobility, prepare meals, and keep accurate care records while maintaining dignity and privacy.

Full-time or part-time roles are available. A valid right to work in Ireland is required; driving license is not mandatory but beneficial. Training is provided and progression to supervisory roles is possible.

Qualifications

• EU/EEA citizenship or unrestricted right to work in Ireland.
• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support desirable; if not held, full support to complete it.
• Motivation to support people in your community to live with independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Delivering personal care including support with mobility, dressing, and continence care with dignity and respect at all times.
• Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Providing medication prompts and maintaining accurate, timely records.
• Travel between client visits within your local area.
• Observing client wellbeing and escalating any concerns promptly to local office management.
• Building a professional, trusted relationship with your client and their family.
• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and privacy at all times; the trust of our clients and their families is central to everything we do.
