Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Ireland is hiring carers to support people to live independently at home with dignity and respect. You will deliver personal care, assist with meals, manage records, and travel between client visits in your local area.

You’ll join a team that values community impact and trusts you to provide high-quality, compassionate care. Full-time or part-time positions are available, with competitive hourly rates, mileage reimbursement, and funded QQI Level 5 training.

Qualifications

• Essential: Minimum Experienced Required (Years): 0
• Desirable: QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support
• Desirable: Driving licence is beneficial
• Desirable: Genuine motivation to support people to live independently

Responsibilities

• Delivering personal care including support with mobility, dressing, and continence care with dignity and respect at all times.
• Assisting with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Providing medication prompts and maintaining accurate, timely records.
• Travel between client visits within your local area.
• Observing client wellbeing and escalating any concerns promptly to the local office management.
• Building a professional, trusted relationship with your client and their family.
• Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and privacy at all times, the trust of our clients and their families is central to everything we do.
