Job summary

Corlann – West Region (Clonard Services) in Castlerea is seeking a Community Facilitator to develop and implement educational, social, vocational and personal development goals for people supported. The role includes being a key worker to increase community participation and may operate across day, residential or community settings.

The post requires QQI Level 6 in Social Care or related field, a full clean manual driving licence (Class D1 may be needed), and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• QQI Level 6 qualification relevant to Social Care (e.g., Social Care, Training/Education, Community Development, Nursing, Creative Arts, Creative Digital Media).
• Full clean manual driving licence essential; Class D1 may be required; assistance provided to obtain if needed.
• Experience with intellectual disability/autism/complex needs desirable; induction/training provided.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational, social, vocational, recreational and personal development goals for people supported.
• Fulfill a key worker role and promote active roles and participation in local communities.
• Support delivery in day/residential/respite settings or community services; flexible work locations.
