Job summary

Co-operative Housing Ireland (chi) is hiring a Community Engagement Specialist for their Limerick office. This full-time position will focus on fostering community engagement initiatives that resonate with their Member Tenants. The successful applicant will coordinate projects, offer support and develop partnerships that advocate for tenant participation while managing communication with various stakeholders.

With a commitment to a hybrid working arrangement, the role also includes responsibilities such as developing community engagement strategies and representing CHI at external events. Qualifications include relevant educational background and experience in the community sector.

Qualifications

• Experience in community sector through volunteer or paid work.
• Knowledge of tenant participation and funding streams.
• Full, clean driving license and access to own car.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing Community Engagement strategy.
• Work with Member Tenants to facilitate community engagement activities.
• Create partnerships for local and national initiatives.
